1. App Purpose
Chromify is a creative camera effects app for real-time visual processing, spatial effects, depth-based rendering, LiDAR/ARKit-powered visuals, and recorded videos.
Chromify is not a safety-critical measurement tool, surveying tool, medical tool, security tool, or professional compliance tool.
2. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Chromify and for any content you create, record, publish, or share using the app.
You agree not to use Chromify:
- To violate another person privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
- To record, scan, or process people, private spaces, restricted areas, or protected property without permission.
- To create, record, or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or infringing content.
- In a way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
3. Privacy and Consent
You must obtain appropriate consent before recording, scanning, or processing people, private property, workplaces, restricted areas, or other sensitive locations.
Chromify may make it easy to create striking visual content, but that does not remove your responsibility to use the app respectfully and lawfully.
4. Intellectual Property
You may not use Chromify to copy, scan, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from copyrighted objects, artwork, designs, architecture, commercial products, performances, or other protected materials unless you have the legal right to do so.
You retain responsibility for ensuring your generated content does not infringe third-party rights.
5. Recorded Videos and Generated Content
Chromify allows you to create real-time visual effects and record videos.
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing generated content before sharing it.
- Confirming that you have permission to publish or distribute it.
- Complying with platform rules where you upload or share it.
- Backing up files that are important to you.
The developer is not responsible for loss, misuse, publication, removal, or rejection of your generated content.
6. Subscription and Payments
Chromify is offered through Apple In-App Purchase as an annual auto-renewable subscription for access to the entire app.
Subscription terms:
- Price: US$1 per year after a 3-day free trial, or the local equivalent shown by Apple before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account through the App Store.
- If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, the annual subscription begins automatically.
- The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
- Refund requests are handled according to Apple policies.
The exact price, duration, trial terms, and subscription details will be shown in the app purchase flow and/or App Store listing.
7. Apple Standard EULA
Unless Chromify provides a separate custom end-user license agreement in App Store Connect, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple Standard End User License Agreement for App Store apps. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple required terms, Apple required terms apply where legally required.
8. Availability and Changes
Chromify may change over time. Effects, rendering modes, recording workflow, subscription access, performance, and device compatibility may vary depending on hardware, operating system version, sensors, camera access, LiDAR availability, and Apple framework behavior.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app.
9. Device Performance and Safety
Real-time camera, ARKit, LiDAR, depth processing, Metal rendering, and video recording can be hardware-intensive.
You are responsible for using the app safely and for stopping use if your device overheats, performance degrades, battery usage is high, or the app behaves unexpectedly.
10. No Warranty
Chromify is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, suitable for a specific professional use, or compatible with every device or future operating system.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, device issues, lost profits, legal claims, or misuse of generated content arising from your use of Chromify.
